Project Description
With a total built area of 13,000 m², Atlantica Mare Village Paphos represents the complete architectural transformation of a former coastal resort village into a cohesive, contemporary Mediterranean destination. The intervention redefines the site’s spatial logic, visual identity, and material expression—elevating it into a holistic hospitality environment.
At the heart of the composition is a newly built central atrium—a double-height volume clad in timber and glass that establishes both clarity and warmth upon arrival. The lobby immediately sets guests in place, offering framed views across the main pool and toward the sea. This alignment defines a strong visual and spatial axis, anchoring the guest experience and reinforcing a sense of arrival.
Surrounding this core, guest rooms and suites are arranged in low-rise volumes oriented toward the coast, with private pools, courtyards, and landscaped buffers integrated throughout. The architectural strategy emphasizes the layering of outdoor spaces—verandas, planted terraces, and sunken lounges—which unfold between interior programs and the horizon beyond.
Public zones are reshaped with a focus on light, movement, and tactile materiality. Warm stone, soft-toned timber, and neutral finishes create continuity between indoor and exterior spaces. From lobby to lounge, from dining terraces to wellness areas, the architecture supports a calm, immersive experience connected to the coastal context.
